Situated on a compact 1,350 sq. ft. southwest-facing plot and surrounded by neighboring houses on three sides, Parijat Courtyard House is designed to maximize natural light, ventilation, and spatial openness within a dense urban setting. The home is organized around a central staircase atrium that acts as a vertical breathing core, drawing fresh air and daylight through the entire residence while visually connecting all levels.

Three thoughtfully positioned terraces extend the living spaces outdoors, creating pockets of greenery and relaxation while enhancing cross-ventilation. A skylight above the family lounge further illuminates the heart of the home, filling interiors with natural light and reducing dependence on artificial lighting. The contemporary façade combines earthy textures, perforated screens, and integrated landscape elements to provide privacy, climate responsiveness, and visual warmth.

The result is a bright, airy, and well-connected residence that demonstrates how thoughtful design can transform a compact urban plot into a comfortable, sustainable, and nature-inspired family home.
