Interior Planning & Design

Custom kids' bedroom featuring a built-in study desk for two, overhead storage cabinets, open shelving, warm wood finishes, forest-green accents, a mountain-themed feature wall, concealed bathroom door, and integrated sleeping nook designed for growing children.

Designed for a growing family, this kids' room renovation was envisioned as a space that evolves with its young users over time. Initially planned for a 5-year-old child while anticipating the needs of a future sibling, the design focuses on flexibility, functionality, and long-term usability.

The room was carefully planned to accommodate two full-size single beds, ensuring that the space remains relevant as the children grow. A dedicated study corner was integrated to support learning and creativity through different stages of childhood and adolescence. Custom-designed open and closed storage solutions around the study area provide easy access to books, stationery, and personal belongings while maintaining an organized environment.

To maximize storage, the design incorporates under-bed drawers, overhead cabinetry, wardrobes for clothing, and dedicated storage for toys, games, and everyday essentials. Every element was thoughtfully designed to encourage independence while keeping the room clutter-free.

One of the key design features was the integration of a hidden bathroom door, seamlessly concealed within the cabinetry and wall treatment. This approach creates a cleaner visual composition, enhances the sense of space, and allows the custom furniture design to remain the focal point of the room.

Finished in warm wood tones with playful nature-inspired accents, the room balances practicality with imagination, creating a comfortable and adaptable environment that can grow alongside its users for years to come.
